I decided to head to the Ipswich Wildlife Sanctuary yesterday and was surprised to see this very tolerant red-tailed hawk, named Jasper. At one point I was about 30 feet away from this beautiful bird. I photographed and watched him hunt for about an hour. He did end up catching something, but was to far away for me to tell what it was. Here is a nice portrait I was able to get.
