The Melrose boys varsity soccer team had a great run but ended up loosing their state tournament game to Danvers in an exciting shootout. Soccer is a great sport for a photographer looking to capture action.
State tournament time is one of the best time to capture a lot of action as well as the emotion of victory and defeat. This boys soccer game between Danvers and Melrose was no exception. There was plenty of action as the game went into double overtime and ended in a shootout. Both team played very well.
Seen here a Melorse player lowers his head as the game game to a close as a Danvers player scored the winning goal to advance in the state tournament.
